Acting Exam!

The title says it all. I had my Higher drama acting exam today, and not only was it ever so slightly nerve racking, it was also a bloody good day.
The examiner, who brilliantly resembled Billy Connolly, was so, so nice. He made us feel so at ease and told us exactly how things were going to run, so everything was clear and settled before we started. It was clear he enjoyed his visit, and our shows; he made a point of saying so afterwards.
So it was a brill day, and the camaraderie between the class rocketed, along with our acting pieces. Looks like a bit of pressure can actually do the world of good when it comes to performing in an exam.
And afterwards, just to complete the day, the whole higher class (plus one Int 2 - she knows who she is, lol) went to Scribbles with the teachers to have a celebratory meal, which was well earned by one and all, lol.
Today ended up being a brill day, and thoroughly enjoyable too. It's a bit sad that it's all over now; all that hard work, just for one exam which was over in the space of 3 hours. It was worth
it though.
So well done my higher drama class, we definitely deserved those pizzas after such a great day!

Saz, great to hear it went well!

I think the pressure can make you just go for it and give it your all but in those kind of situations, an examiner like that helps set your mind.
Aye, a well deserved meal!
